The Thunderbird by Lone Star Ropes is a team roping head rope engineered to provide exceptional balance, consistency, and performance. Developed in collaboration with NFR legend Patrick Smith, this rope combines a 4-strand nylon/polyester blend construction with a multi-directional double-twisted core.

This design allows the core to perfectly counterbalance the rope, providing a uniform feel from throw to impact. The Thunderbird has very well-distributed weight and easily adapts to various weather conditions.

Each rope is precisely tuned to offer consistent performance from the very first use. The coils and honda are factory-tuned and hand-finished, eliminating the break-in period while helping to extend the rope's lifespan.
